Calling all villagers!

This year we have expanded . Went to a garden centre this afternoon and instead of buying a new house, we have bought landscaping materials. I feel that it will be a good one this year!

Yes I have a village of houses / buildings and lately have been buying the landscaping and characters . I love the Victorian period rather than the modern era

Yes I do too @hattie43 , dh has one with horrible blue lights on that I really don't like. We have quite a few buildings now so we went looking at the garden centre to see how they layer them. I think this year we will have 2 rows, a raised back row and a front row. We've bought wood to make a base, a bit like a model railway. We are fully Lemax nerds now 🤦‍♀️

I'm in my 2nd year! Excited to see how it looks this time but haven't started with landscaping and scenery yet- maybe next year.
I don't want modern or victorian so have to pick my bits carefully, I do love all the funfairs etc at garden centre displays.

Our winter village is Victorian era and a North Pole area higher up on a table. It’s a mix of Lemax and other brands. I’ve moved the furniture around this year so it can be spread out more, Dh was not impressed 😂 There are not many buildings yet so it looks a bit sparse! We got a horse and carriage this year and the reindeer numbers have doubled.
