Chutneys and crackers for cheeseboard

Inspired by the wonderful cheese thread I’m planning our Christmas cheeseboard. I’m always happy with the cheeses but not particularly inspired by the crackers. So what crackers do you recommend? And any recommendations for chutneys or other accompaniments that make it even more delicious? Thank you

I don't think you can beat a good water biscuit or cream cracker

Not a great lover of pickles or chutneys as it detracts from the cheese, same with crackers really. Although if pushed I'd say the regular, plain thin Carrs crackers. I do like a stick of celery with a nice strong Stilton or Epoisses, though.

And even though I'm not a fan of pickles, I do make, or so I'm told, a blinding mango or fruit pickle with chillis, scotch bonnet peppers etc.

Dukeshill onion marmalade

I make my own chutney, a very traditional one with apples, pears and plums from the garden.

Otherwise, the Bon Maman fig and shallot chutney is lovely.

Bath Olivers.

Membrillo (M&S) sell in their cheese section.

From my childhood: Butterpuff and Cornish Wafers.

I love that so many of us are making our own chutneys.

My pickled onions are famous for taking the roof of your mouth off.
