Fun items for teens

Hi dd14 is getting a new phone for Christmas and some very small but expensive make up items she wants this year. I know the phone will be fun and keep her busy, but looking for 2-3 other things I can get her to open on Christmas day that she can get excited about. I've got her one of those phone printers, a case for the new phone and some water colour pens. Looking for any inspiration! Thanks

These are all I can think of:
-A colouring book/sketch pad to go with the pens
-Some fun skin care things (starface pimple patches are popular)
-Jellycat plushies are increasingly popular
-Stanley or Owala water bottles are popular
-a cute lamp/fairy lights/colour changing light bulb
-nice pyjama set with fluffy socks/slippers
-fluffy blanket
-starbucks cup/voucher

I’ve got both my teens a ‘fun’ lamp. I got DD a colour changing octopus that hangs from a base and DS an ‘anti gravity’ water lamp where a stream of water flows the wrong way.

They both got a hoodie too.

Thanks for the ideas. I was considering a jellycat for her as I think she would like the penguin one. She enjoys jigsaws as well so may get her another wasgij!

Oh yes! I’ve got DD a Jellycat - she’s obsessed

Does she like bubble tea ? I usually get Dd some supplies. Anything Korean is fashionable too, apparently.
dd is mainly all about her horse so most of her pressies are equestrian related but I will get her boba, Sabrina carpenter cd, a Pandora bracelet from Vinted and she is getting a daisy themed ring she saw on holiday. And a jigsaw

I bought DD a bottle of Japanese sweets from Amazon, they came in a cardboard box lined with a Japanese newspaper which was interesting in itself. We used the translate on her phone to work out what they were. We liked some and not others but brought much enjoyment working out what they were and trying them.

A small card game - ideal for sleepovers and holidays, eg
A little more conversation
More or less
The pretender
Taskmaster etc

Dinodrivingacar · 19/11/2024 18:36

Ooh task master game might be a good idea. I've bought a couple of bits from flying tiger- a little washing machine for her blenders and a mini suitcase manicure set. Also got a little fondue set I thought she might like at sleepovers.
Id love to get her some cool sweets but food is a bit tricky as she has coeliac disease and wouldn't be able to read the ingredients if they were in Japanese!!
I'll get the jellycat ordered.
