I can happily report back that both of my Raise gift cards worked just now, so that's a relief (I got Aldi with extra £10 added, then a Tesco one with the Aldi cash back of 15p and the referral tenner).

ah my instincts were correct after all. I just did another quick search and found lots of people on Reddit claiming to have been scammed after this referral stopped working and people couldn’t access their cards. Those of you who have already purchased from Raise would be advised to use the gift cards promptly.

Re Raise.com, another word of warning unfortunately. I signed up a few days ago using a bonus referral link, bonus showed in the activity page of the app. When I tried to order a gift card and use the £10 bonus, my account was immediately locked. Customer service is a chat bot, very slow to respond and eventually they deactivated my account as apparently it didn’t comply with their protocols, which is odd as I hadn’t even ordered anything. Once deactivated any gift cards you had in your account would be lost, so I’d be careful with raise.com.
