I really need some suggestions for my husband for Christmas! We have always managed to get each other something special for Christmas. Not necessarily expensive, sometimes yes sometimes no, but something someone wouldn't buy for themselves.
He has had things like a wallet with a photo of the kids printed on the inside, and it had their writing printed on the other, and I popped a note in saying "you are rich in things money cannot buy".
Cufflinks with our girls fingerprints on and a note saying "to remind you of your 2 favourite jobs... Detective and Daddy!"
When he hit 40 and was clearly feeling old, I brought a pair of walking boots and booked a weekend away to do Snowdon, note to say "let's reach new heights together and climb Snowdon!"
Hopefully those few give you the sort of idea of what I'm after?
I just cannot think of ANYTHING this year that feels thoughtful.
Its been a really tough year as a family with family deaths, health worries, daughter being bullied, 2 new jobs, just stressful. But he has always done his absolute best for us so I really really want to get him something that shows him he's appreciated.
We can't leave the kids for more than 1 night, max spend £500, not food or jewellery.
Huge thanks in advance for any ideas!
