I am looking for some ideas please for a 2 year old boy. It’s for a gift collection run by a charity so I don’t know the child or what he would like.

Budget total £15-20. I’ve already bought a 4-pack of Play-Doh.

I was thinking maybe a big bag of Mega Bloks or Duplo? With a book/s, and maybe a vehicle like a truck or digger etc? I definitely want things with lots of play factor (as opposed to a wooden puzzle which has more limited play time, I feel):

My 9yo liked these things at 2yo but it’s obviously been a few years.

Monster truck, stickle bricks, sticker book, paint sticks, drawing pad, and a reading book (oi frog ones are good - my son loves those) can get second hand ones on Ebay.

My two year old loves peppa, Thomas and bluey so we’ve got him a few things related to this.

He also loves flap books, animals and any kind of vehicle. He got some emergency vehicles for his second bday that went down well. B and m and the works seem to be quite good if you want a few diff bits for your money!

I'd go Duplo.
I hated Magformers, DS always wanted me to build him cars, which never stayed together when he tried to drive them. So frustrating.
