What would I like?!

Have totally finished my shopping, provided the grandparents and aunts/uncles with lists for the children and DH (as requested!), planned our December days out etc...then yesterday I was asked for ideas on what I'd like and...erm, I haven't the foggiest!!

I've concluded I'm a nightmare to buy for...I don't drink, I rarely eat chocolates so they'd get snuffled by DH or the kids, I rarely use cosmetics or wear perfume or jewellery, I go to the library for books, have naff all free time so the wonderful spa voucher I was given last year is still waiting to be used. My family don't generally like to give money or shopping vouchers. Usually I'd suggest an experience gift or time together but they live frickin HOURS away so that's actually a really big ask. We're also moving in the new year so trying my damndest to declutter. I did jokingly suggest they pay for one off deep clean of the house but that's actually very expensive and also apparently far too practical.

I'm stumped. Have considered saying 'lets just gift for the kids' but I've bought them something so I'll get in trouble down the line if I say no adult gifts and then change the plan.

Tricky...

If you like reading what about a magazine subscription or a subscription to readly so you can access loads of magazine and papers.
Clothes? I'm eyeing up a COS cashmere jumper, wanted it last year, still want it now.

Flower bouquet subscription?

@Whatamess23 @mondaytosunday with subscriptions, if we move do you know if they get swept up with any forwarding thingy that you set up with the post office? I think the fact we're changing address but can't say when put me off anything like that as an idea.

DH bought me tickets to Six recently for my birthday which was a wonderful surprise since I love musicals and it's literally a once in a year treat.

Oo theatre tickets is a great shout!!! Or cinema either tbh. Evening activities are easier to work around the kids.

Comforting winter stuff? Like a blanket to have on the sofa, a microwave hot water bottle (I just got one and I love it), cashmere anything?

Are you foodie - if so any food subscriptions (cheese?) or cooking related gifts?

Do you like diffusers. Arran Sense of Scotland do amazing candles and diffusers. They are a very ethical company and good to to shop within

@okayhescereal magazine subscription definitely gets forwarded on. You could look at readly which is an online subscription.
