10yo Christmas list help?

Can anyone help me decipher/decide on the following wish list items? Want to avoid asking him if possible as he’s in the suspicious-believer phase:

  • “War theme Lego”. Not sure what he means; Lego don’t do this, and he’s never been in to all the soldier/war stuff. Not into Star Wars either. We get some Lego every year, so what set would you purchase off the back of this request?
  • “Joyride” - internet’s giving me no clues here, any idea what this is?
  • “Nerf mini gun” - when I google this, it brings up massive guns, but can’t actually see a product named Nerf mini gun. Is this actually a thing?
  • “Drone with camera” - groan. An oft-declined request, because I don’t understand the rules & restrictions around them, and I don’t know if it’s something you have to spend a fortune on to get something that actually works. But we’re told it’s something their friends have. Is there an affordable, decent quality child-appropriate version of this that he can take to the park without breaking any laws? And does it require a phone? (As he’s not getting one until secondary school)

Any advice gratefully received!

Hi @Meringued - we've moved your thread to our Christmas topic as we think you'll get more responses here! Smile

Maybe the Jetpack Joyride game if he's a gamer?
