I am a little stumped what to get my DD for Christmas.
So far we have got her two dressing up dresses (Vinted), some dressing up shoes, a tutu and ballet slippers, playdough and a puzzle.
She already has a Tonie box so could get her some tonies but I am really after a ‘wow’ toy that she can play with over and over again. She seems to have outgrown her toy kitchen.
Magnetic tiles and marble run have been a big hit. Occasionally she plays with Lego but not much.
I have tried sitting down with her to look through the smyths toys magazine and she just says she wants everything which doesn’t help.

Any recommendations for toys that can be used over and over again and encourage imaginative play or at least won’t be a one time wonder?

I've taken her pottery painting a couple of times, she's happy enough to do the first layer but gets bored after that so I end up having to paint the next two layers for her in whatever obscure rainbow pattern she has decided to do. Our local shop is lovely, but quite pricey so it's not really worth it at the moment.

I’ve just got a good deal on a camera recommend on the bargain thread for my 5 year old. It has 50% off so ended up being 16.99 but I think it will end up being my dds favourite present. I think I will get a scrapbook to go with it so she can stick her photos in

Have you got a link and do you think food for a nearly 7 year old 🥰 my kids are all grown up but I buy for nieces and never have a clue
