Decorating a (tiny) flat

I bloody love Christmas but my flatmate is a big grinch (his family doesn’t do Christmas whereas mine is obsessed). We live in a flat around the size of a postage stamp.

We have a small table in our lounge that also doubles as my desk and I have sneakily bought a table top tree today that I will quietly put up and see if he notices.

I want to get a wreath but am on a budget… pretty sure I would not get away with paper chains rebut any ideas would be HUGELY welcomed !

I bought a long garland (it’s really nice) and am placing on the top of the window (across the top and down the right side and I’ve cow bells and fairy lights)

can’t wait to put it up but waiting until December

Lidl sell fresh wreaths so you done have to worry about storing it afterwards in the flat

Fairy lights in a vase? Twinkly enough to be festive, but not so Christmassy that you couldn’t pass them off as another bit of lighting.
