Budget around £30-40

He’s in his 40s, married with 2 children, loves cooking (used to be professional chef so he probably has lots of kit), doesn’t drink alcohol, likes exercising and being outdoors.

Sous Chef voucher?

I think I’d just give a cash bonus of £40 in a Christmas card, or a voucher for a supermarket

I know gifts are nice and more personal, but I think it’s such a huge waste to buy something for someone when you don’t know their taste or what they like or dislike

I'm not familiar with sous chef but a quick look suggests it is more for someone who is a wannabe chef rather than someone is a proper chef and rather overpriced - apologies to fans.

Do you have a local farm shop you could get a voucher for instead?

I bought DDs friend (a budding chef) a Stone notebook from Sous Chef, it's water and greaseproof and designed for the kitchen for recipes etc.
