I have offered to buy 2 gifts for a local charitable event that provides Christmas gifts for underprivileged and needy youngsters.

I have been allocated a 6 year old girl (no other details) and an 8 year old boy who has ADHD and loves music.

My budget is £30-40 each.

In previous years I’ve been allocated children much closer in age to my own or been given more details so I’m a bit flummoxed by these 2! Any ideas of what might go down well would be gratefully received.

That’s so kind of you, OP! 🌺 I would advise that you buy one big present as opposed to little ones because my understanding is that sometimes gifts can be split and given to others if one child receives numerous (even if they are little). Not sure about the little boy but what about a Barbie play set for the little girl? Or a little dolls house that’s within your budget. There’s loads of offers on toys at the moment.

Good ideas, thank you.

That’s good value isn’t it?

it’s difficult with just the ‘loves music’ information. I don’t know if he plays any instruments or just enjoys listening to music, does he like any particular bands?

Very tricky and if it’s likely to be one of the few presents that he gets I want to make it a good one.

That keyboard doesn't play chords.
