Thinking of this for DS 7. Hoping it encourages activity! Anybody have any firsthand experience? Some reviews say it’s quite big? I like that it doesn’t need charging but is the battery good for a full year?

any suggestions for other kids fitness watches welcome.

If you think it’s too big-you could try the Vivofit 2 rather than 3? We’ve got that (but it does need charging..)

My son has the vivofit 3. Hes 6 and I definitely wouldn’t say it’s too big. He got it in February and he’s not took it off as it’s waterproof he’s just kept it on. Battery is still going strong too. It’s been a hit here. I thought the novelty might of wore off but he still makes sure he’s hit his steps and activity so he gets to do the game every day. I also like that we can see how many hours of sleep he’s had each night too. I’ve recommended it to a few friends now too

Thanks sounds like it might be a hit!

My son also got the vivofit 3 two years ago, and it is still going strong (although the strap is in dire need of replacement now). I've only changed the battery once, so that works well. I also bought it as it wouldn't need charging. The first year he would check the app regularly to play the game. Now that's reduced to once a month. The only downside I find is the screen, which is rather dark and difficult to see in daylight. He sleeps/swims/etc. with it so it is really quite strong.

Thanks, will keep a look out for a good deal on the Grogu one.
