Digital camera

My teen has asked for a digital camera for christmas but doesn't know what kind! Any tips. She wants to use it for gigs, insta etc.. Won't be full on photography. Any bargains would be appreciated too. Tia x

Yip she has an iPhone 14 but for some reason she has asked for this. Hence why not wanting to spend a lot of money on it

shes same wants it for nights out so didn’t want to spend a fortune.

Both DS and DH have Canon , for someone who wants to do "proper" photography a phone won't cut it. In the future they may want different lenses, DH has a telephoto lens for taking photos of things from afar.
