Part of me wants to suggest that everyone on the Christmas board coughs up 50p. We’d reach the asking price in no time and he would be so, so happy. We could issue raffle tickets with each donation and get the seller to pick the winning ticket and present it to the lucky Mumsnetter whose number was picked. Sadly I wouldn’t be able to take part in that, of course. It wouldn’t be fair if the organiser of the raffle won it. But really good luck to the rest of you! 😊
