FurReal/Live Pets (particularly the Peanut monkey)

Are the FurReal ones worth the money?

DC (nearly 4)is OBSESSED with the FurReal Peanut the Monkey, but also likes Live Pets Monkey too. I prefer the Live Pets one simply because it's cheaper 😂

My eldest DC had Blaze the Dragon from the FurReal range and really wasn't that taken with it, but the comparison of what it could do and what this monkey can apparently do seems to be quite different.

Hi, I don't have either but if it was me I'd go for the little live pets one. It has good reviews on Smyths, looks a nice size to carry around and is cheaper. Often these types of toys aren't played with much but I think our granddaughter would of loved this and taken it everywhere.

There are reviews for both on Amazon too if you haven't already looked at them.

@OnNaturesCourse my DD has the Fur Real Cubby Bear which was in a similar price bracket (looks like it may now be discontinued) and looks similar in terms of what it does to the monkey. Bit more advanced than the cheaper ones in the range. It is a great toy, very much loved and played with by my DD!

I've looked at the reviews on smyths and amazon but I am wary of these as often find they are paid/promotional gain reviews.

I do prefer the little pets one as I hate buying "fad" toys but DC seems to absolutely adore it. I am considering holding off until birthday time next year and maybe getting the FurReal one secondhand. Hopefully be some available on Vinted etc by then
