DD7, who is always a bit quixotic, has asked for a typewriter for Christmas - one which works. I actually think it's a nice idea for her to have one in her room and type her little stories on it. But googling just produces links to eBay and reconditioned vintage ones. I don't really want to get an old one which will be difficult to fix if it breaks. But does anyone make them anymore? Any recommendations much appreciated...
