What little things do you do to create that extra magic for Christmas?
Our household has a mixture of ages from preschool to mid teens, so one is just getting into 'Santa' and another enjoys helping on Christmas eve creating little magical things.

We do some things already, like glitter inside the empty milk glass, and a signed message from Santa on the note but it's not just Santa I want to make magical.

So tell me what little things you do that make your Christmas feel that bit more 'magic'!

1st December lots of people do a special North Pole breakfast as that’s when the elves come out (I don’t personally make the elves move about as find that creepy/bit weird).

We now do the tradition on 23rd where we have hot chocolate and swap books. Hot chocolate had candy canes in it. Grown ups get a shot of rum in it.

General fun things in the run up like Christmas shopping at a fun market somewhere (can change location each year like Bath, Oxford, Birmingham), do ice skating, see a panto (sometimes save that for Boxing Day).

Also when Santa comes leave footprints.

Some countries do advent the four Sundays before Christmas so every Sunday light an extra candle (first just one, then two, three etc) and have special Christmas type biscuits.
