Bitzees?

I saw the Disney bitzees today and remembered that my daughter showed interest in the standard one last year and wondered if anyone had either and what the kids made of them if they did? Are they a one hit wonder or a regularly played with toy? Thanks.

My daughter had a Bitzee for her 8th Birthday last year, she constantly plays with it and has even asked for the Disney version for Christmas this year, I like the concept of it, there are several different animals to play with and look after which 'level up' after a certain time, you can play games with the characters, feed them etc.

My daughter got one last month and she likes it a lot, she says it sleeps too much. I think it is a good thing as that means she puts it down and does other things. I wasn´t keen in the begining and get told off that I don´t stroke the pets properly, but it is growing on me and I can see why she likes it.
