Poncetastic Preamble thread

I'm looking forward to the Poncetastic Thread.

In the meantime I'm starting to formulate my ideas for our Christmas Tablescape this year and also the more general scheme. I'd love to see some of yours for inspiration and also hear what you're planning. I think I'm pretty sure what I'm going to do and now the challenge is not to be silly and end up buying lots of new things to fit the theme. Barring one, or maybe two, special things, and possibly a few charity shop bargains, I'm committed to using what I've already got.

Please share your trees/tablescapes/themes.

Hehe yes I must confess I've checked a couple of times in case there was a thread.

I will hopefully have time to knit tonight and have something to show !

It's not strictly poncing since I didn't make them myself...but here are our Christmas cards for this year - they have wildflower seeds embedded in the recycled paper. The recipient plants the whole thing and fingers crossed, flowers will grow.

I've noted that VivaJen started the Poncestastic thread on 24 Sept last year and hasn't posted (on other threads) since February this year. I guess there's a possibility that she may have left MN.

She may also just be slightly late this year (or have name changed)

Obviously she was the second custodian of the original threads by FellatioNelson.

Hoping all is OK with her.

Yes @RainbowZebraWarrior, @StiffyByngsDogBartholomew has noted the same and gone ahead and opened the official Poncetastic Thread for this year.

I hope Fellatio and VivaJen are okay, and wish them well! 🎄🎄🎄
