I'd like to buy one or two of these as Christmas presents for my adult kids this year. Does anyone have any recommendations or 'must avoids' and which is the easiest to get replacement sheets for?

Or is it a bloody stupid idea all round and I'm better off with tubs of Quality Street?

PIL gave me one a couple of years ago and I really appreciate it! If the kids want to take a picture of something we did at the weekend to school to show then it's perfect. Also good for hanging on the fridge. I have a Fuji mini one.

This is a great idea, OP - thanks so much for the thread.

Strictly - could you name the model or link to it? Are e supplies very expensive?

Just to throw a proverbial spanner in the works - I use an app that prints off 40 photos for free every month and they arrive in the post just like the old fashioned photos used to. You just pay for postage which is about £3.50 from memory.

We bought one for DS to use whilst writing a travel journal for our recent vacation. It’s a Kodak P210R.

That sounds great what's the app?

I use free prints. It's 45 4x6 prints (just pay postage) and they often have deals on bigger prints, photo books, canvases, etc.

I have a KiiPix which I never managed to get working.

Thank you all so much for the advice.

The app thing is fine but it puts the onus on the person to do all the work - to choose and send off the pics, I want something that is point and press and you've got the pictures. So an actual physical printer, really.

I bought DD this Kodak one 3 years ago and it’s still working well. Got it from Amazon and the replacement photo paper is still
easy to buy. Very straightforward to use.
