I'm looking for some ideas for a gift based around the theme of a court of thornes and roses , maybe even a hamper. I've not read the books myself so don't have much of an idea. Looking to spend around £50

There are a couple of other series by the same author, have they got the Throne of Glass box set? (Do 20yo even read analogue books?)

Have a look on Etsy! They have really nice things like this -

if you search ACOTAR gifts they have plenty to choose from :) such as inspired clothes and jewellery.

you could do a hamper with the mug, special teas, cosy socks etc? If that is her thing.

Etsy is your friend here. It just depends on what she might like. I browsed for a few minutes and some rings caught my eye that I might put on my own wish list. There were cute sweatshirts. The requisite mugs. Lots of stickers (decorating water bottles, devices, and most importantly your kindle).

Etsy is great for bookish merchandise.

Another option could be to put together some items inspired by the themes within the books. Maybe something small to represent each Court? (Night, Day, Dawn, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter)

I've started listing a few ideas as examples...

  • Night Court: some pretty jewellery with delicate stars?
  • Spring Court: something rose scented or flavoured?
  • Autumn Court: pumpkin spice candle?
  • Winter: cosy socks??

I think a hamper would be fun.

I’m also into the ACOTAR series and I just received the Throne of Glass series (also Sarah J Maas) for my anniversary present. I was absolutely delighted. It has the same fandom and it’s around £50 so definitely a luxury item. There is also the Crescent City series by the same author. You can get that for around £30 and then you would have a bit left over for some merch as well. I agree with the others that Etsy is pretty good for stuff like that.
maybe you could make a reading hamper for her? You could put a blanket, candle, mug, snacks, bookmark etc with a couple of new books.
or if she’s a kindle reader you could get her a kindle holder so she can read in bed hands free. Maybe add some ACOTAR stickers to decorate her kindle.

Go on Etsy - I'd definitely go with an ACOTAR tote bag, ACOTAR mug (they usually say Velaris on them) and there's also lots of lovely ACOTAR clothing.

I got my sister in law an ACOTAR jumper from Etsy for her birthday and she loves it

Snag tights did a ACOTAR themed range for a while - might be some still in stock.

I have just seen lots of ACOTAR merch on the TikTok shop. It’s really reasonably priced so if you’re on there it’s worth a look

Shein also have some bits- like this bag and stickers etc
