What needs booking early?

I will have a nearly 3 year old come Christmas 2024. Is there anything people recommend that needs booking super early in the year?

We're in the North East and already booked The Snowman at the Sage for Christmas Eve. Just want to make things magical for her!

At this age less is more! There is a lot going on and they’re easily overwhelmed. Maybe look the Nothern Stage, they normally have a show suitable for little ones. If you want a santa then try and find out where santa ste will be, although it’s way too early to book him.

Keilder books up really early for Santa, if you fancy it

Thank you. I heard great things about Santa Ste this year but didn't pursue it thinking she was too young so I'll definitely add that to the list.

Neighbours went to Kielder a few years back and loved it but the kids were probably 4/5 so thought I'd save that for then. Thank you for the suggestion.

I honestly didn’t book much last year when DC was roughly the same age, and even then I planned too much.

The house being decorated, snuggles and mummy and daddy time, seeing the lights on houses in nearby roads were all the most successful. Almost everything we “booked” was either a bit overwhelming or we ended up cancelling because someone (or everyone) was ill.

If you ever fancy Lapland UK their tickets go on sale about March I think . They released tickets in one day last year and all sold out .
I think (not 100% sure) they do a limited 2nd release later but they sell out quickly .
,
You're probably a bit far though.
I haven't been <sadface> but I did take my DS to see The Snowman at the Peacock Theatre /Sadlers Wells which was so lovely ,

If there's any reindeer feeding I recommend that , really nice on Christmas Eve ,
