...and has a shoebox to collect everything in because they didn't get expertly packed away with the majority of stuff?

So far, X2 carol music books, X3 Chris food magazine insert specials, X2 small fibre optic trees, X1 small wooden homemade reindeer, X1 new this season 3D printed tree decoration, X1 homemade felt polar bear.

I suspect there is still more.

My trees are still up. (I picked my username for a reason. 😄)

CrushingOnRubies · 12/01/2024 22:01

Oh and the instructions on how to put up the tree

QueenOfHiraeth · 12/01/2024 22:12

Isn't the tradition that, if you haven't put it away by Twelfth Night, you have to keep it till Easter?

MadeOfAllWork · 12/01/2024 22:15

I’ve still got my trees up. They are the twiggy type trees though rather than fir.

Rainbowshit · 14/01/2024 10:24

Yeah the decorations boxes are packed but not put in the loft yet because there's ALWAYS a stray decoration found after they go up.

I realised a stained glass Christmas tree ornament was still hanging in my kitchen window, and then noticed a panettone,
hiding in plain sight on the shelf!

I swiftly cut most of the panettone into slices to freeze otherwise I would have eaten the whole thing. Instead of about a third

I've kept my outside lights up and have them on every evening. Decided to keep them up till Candlemas to cheer the place up.

And I love the story of Candlemas.
