We bought family members token gifts for each family group. We told my sister in law that this was what we were doing.
Two family groups gave us token gifts, one gave us presents probably £20 ish each, but one gave us a really extravagant present ( which I loved)
I feel.so guilty and mean that we got better than we gave and that people will think we are mean.
There is a back story here that for years we got shit presents and gave lovely ones. We haven't spent Christmas with this side of the family for 5 years due to Covid and us moving a long way away.
I feel so awful.about it!
