Well it’s here ! Happy Christmas everyone 🥳

up until last night mine was all going to plan, that’s all changed. I’m not going to go into the why and wherefore- quite honestly their are people out there with far bigger problems.

but after tears and panic and more tears I’ve decided what the heck, it’s still Christmas, so I’m going to just roll with it and enjoy as much as I can.

so - HAPPY CHRISTMAS everyone - eat what you like, drink what you enjoy and be with those you love

DH is ill so his usual snoring has been amplified x56 and then add in breathing difficulties etc. he woke me up at 1am and I haven't been able to get back to sleep.

I've come downstairs to try and get some sleep but I can still hear him and I am also worried about being asleep down here in case DC wakes up!!

I'm also having a bit of a challenging time and MN is helping to keep me sane. Like @Grumpynan I'm just gonna roll with it. Off to bed now, hoping for a better day tomorrow

Happy Christmas! I've waited four years to travel abroad to see family - only for my sister to develop covid after a 48 hour shift working in a hospital. She is isolating now as two of the kids in the house are immunocompromised. And our guest is also disabled so has cancelled coming over. This isn't as serious as what I summise is your situation, but disappointing nevertheless. But we will still enjoy ourselves and give my sister a nice meal and hope she gets better in time to spend time with us before we leave.
By the way 14 years ago my husband passed away suddenly, the year before my father in December. It was hard but we kept going. Time heals and life must be lived.
