Is this odd…DH shows me what he’s got me a few days before Xmas. So now there’s no suprise. It’s also from Costco so it doesn’t feel particularly special.
i then told him what I’d got him, he insisted. Also 150quid so I wanted to be sure I’d chosen the right one. Turns out he’s pleased and he’d like a different one and he wants two of them.
it just doesn’t feel special now. To me buying two tuns it into a ..commodity, not a special gift.
then today he’s moaning because he’s got nothing to unwrap I reminded him he’d wanted to choose his two things after Xmas.
it’s been a really argumentative day.
