What time are you doing the stockings?

I usually do them once all dc are asleep but tonight I'm really tired. Dd is still awake and usually up later than me.

Not sure if I should risk waiting til the early morning or just force myself to stay awake.

Gosh I remember this when my two were little.

DD1 always went for a wee about 12.30am, so stockings had to be done after that.

them they’d have us awake at 5am. We’d spend the whole day feeling exhausted and slightly ill 🙈

God I remember those days, feeling sick with tiredness. I remember thinking that's where the phrase 'sick and tired' came from. One year my eldest didn't sleep until 2 am I was waiting until then to do their stockings. Then the little shit was up at 4am ffs 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mine will be filled at 6am when I get back from my night shift. Which is taking a very long time to roll past

had the supplies ready to fill mine when my teenager walked into the room. Also putting out Santa gifts. Had everything tucked into reusable carrier bags so no spoilers. I just asked her to get what she needed and stick to the bedroom side of the house for the rest of the night so I could go to bed.
