Christmas Crackers for Kids

Anyone found nice ones this year? Would rather buy a box than “fill your own” type. Thinking little toys inside rather than the usual screwdrivers etc! 😁

Last year we had ones with stickers in instead of a gift. DS was 4 so very happy to get some stickers!

I’ve seen ones with racing reindeer wind up toys and a paper track so you can cheer on your reindeer at the table. Amazon has a big selection of racing character crackers that seem to have Friday delivery dates if real life shopping is out.

I saw a website with beautiful wooden puzzle crackers at about £12 each. Looked lovely but I think DS is still a bit small to appreciate them.

I’m making mine this year for my grandchildren , so that I can put in things they are particularly into. Eg a new toyfarm animal, dinosaur, sparkly bracelet, something tiny for their dolls house
Just have to make sure I name them properly!

@SugarCookieMonster Stickers sounds ideal! Do you remember where you got them? I wonder if there’s similar this year.

@Storynanny1 I’m sure they’ll go down well 😊 I made ours last year and they went down great!
I’ve left it really late this year and am working 12-14 hour shifts wed-Sun so shop bought would be far more ideal for me this year 😅

I think they were Asda ones. They had stickers saying ‘on the nice list’, ‘naughty elf’ etc DS took great pleasure in sticking all the naughty ones on DH!

I’ve seen these stick the nose on the elf ones that may be suitable.

Or these have a little game of Christmas snap for kids.
