Can you please help me make a shopping list please? What do you serve with Christmas pudding - I don’t like it and I don’t really know!

Growing up it was brandy sauce but now it’s brandy butter for me. Custard seems a bit school dinnery and cream can get in the bin because it tastes of being sick and coats your mouth with vomit flavoured grease 🤮

Double or single cream.

I find brandy butter and custard far too sweet and sickly with Christmas pudding.

We mix double cream with cointreau and grated orange. We also usually have brandy cream and plain cream - and never custard. It very much depends on personal preference so I would ask whoever you're inviting.

😍 @MerryMarigold — that sounds amazing. I admit to having always being a little bit indifferent to Christmas pudding, but maybe this idea is the key
