Nephew who I don't see very often is 8 and likes Fortnite and Freddy fazbear

Seems Freddy Fazbear is sold out and Fortnite there isn't much merch to buy

So looking for alternatives.

Have bought Lego and Minecraft stuff int he past but sound like he has outgrown all of that

Helpful ideas gratefully accepted!

I’d go with a V-Bucks gift card and some chocolate.

Minecraft or Technic Lego would have been my first suggestion but if not then:
Rubix cube
Board games like Risk, Catan, Chess, Backgammon - works well because you can then play it with him
sounds random but a paper plane making kit - hours of fun
a Lava ball
A really nice DK non-fiction book about something he’s into
chocolate always goes down well

Fortnite annual 2024
Guinness world record book
T shirt from Illuminated Apparel
LED bike spoke lights
Simon Air game
Trick yo-yo

Fortnite/fnaf pjs or oodie type thing
Fortnite figures you can buy on amazon
Any easy to operate drone (one of the small indoors ones)
Fortnite water bottle and lunch bag if he has packed lunches at school
Fnaf game for PlayStation or switch if he has a console
Good ol giant bar of Cadburys and an amazon voucher

He's outgrown Lego at 8 years old? That's quite sad.

Twopintsprick81 · 17/12/2023 20:02

Nerf also have a range of fortnite guns if his parents aren't against that kind of thing. Or just any old nerf gun and a target.
My 8 year old also has enjoyed a magnetic dartboard and an over the door basketball hoop in the past.

I'd go look at the online Science museum shop for something cool.
There's usually something that will work.

Ah thanks everyone these are great!

Probably not outgrown Lego but probsleu not as cool as Fortnite or FNAF

I've seen a Lego lambo that he might like -we really love Lego so I'll get my Dh to pick a set

My 8 year old DS and same age nephew absolutely love a set of pranks/joke that we got them - a bit different and they have been used many times!
