Weekend away, forgot the elf HELP!

Hi all,

We have just set off on a weekend away to Centre Parcs for the winter wonderland. Kids all excited…santa activities booked but just realised ive left the elf on the shelf at home!!!! Kids already said I wonder what the elf will do when were here.
we came to centre parcs last year and she came with us so they are expecting the same again this year.
does anybody have any ideas on what I can do/say in the morning??

Elf not feeling well so taking the weekend to chill out at home and get creative for when they are back.

Elf going back to the NP to report his findings
to Santa. Will be back when you get home but remember to behave and have a good time at Centre Parcs.

Change someone's name in your phone to Elf and ask them to change their profile photo in WhatsApp. Get them to send you a few memes of elves on location on their own holiday because they've already worked so hard this year and need a rest before helping Santa with Christmas Eve.

Ah well then I’m of no help! I’m about 20 minutes from a CP but a different one! Could you Amazon prime an identical elf or a cousin elf (if they look different)

Could you pen a quick letter and pop it in a suitcase from the elf saying they didn't fancy it or they've been grounded or there was a north pole emergency, or they got into mischief at the services and so are making their way home, has anyone got a spare key who could pop in and get him 'stuck' somewhere/doing something fun and send a photo from the elf?

Do you have pictures saved of previous years antics that you could have someone send you under the name of elf in your phone showing that they are still up to things at home whilst your gone?

I went away with work last year and dad forgot to do the elf. I put it in my bag for her to find when she got home from school and had googled a pic of elf in a hotel room and said he had come with me
