Absolutely no idea what brands are popular with this age group. Budget £20. Suggestions are shower gel. I have no clue so any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

No 7 do men’s toiletries as do Nivea. He will probably be grateful for any brand.

John Lewis were doing some little Clinique for Men sets for £16. I’ve just had a Quick Look and it looks like they’re out of stock on line but I expect they’d have some knocking around if you have a branch near you, or any other stores with a Clinique concession.

My DS was impressed by Neil's Yard. It was too pricey for him to buy but as a special treat he thought it was good.
I think Amazon had a good deal.

elsandanna. Thank you. I’ll take a look on Amazon 👍🏾

What sort of ethos in the group - nice or jokey or weird or rude or what?

One weird/borderline rude is "Below the Belt" - described on Amazon as Fresh & Dry Balls, Intimate Deodorant and Anti Chafing Cream For Men, Protects against Sweat, Odour and Chafing

(IIRC, they did some market research on MN a few years ago, and posters were somewhat incredulous that anyone could possibly come up with a product like this. And yet here it is.....)

The Molton brown cracker is £20 and ideal.

Got DS (22) the Lush refresh gift set - comes wrapped for £22 today. They had a jingle one for £16.
They do nice shower jelly etc too.

MoggyP. What an excellent name for a product ! It’s for my DBs stepson. I can check with SIL what she reckons. They have English as a second language so it may be great or fall flat as I’m not sure about his sense of humour. He seems pretty serious. Thanks for this. Not a brand I’ve come across

My 20 yo son has asked for Zara fragrances for Christmas

Charlieradioalphapapa · 13/12/2023 22:06

Thanks Sadlyacupoftea. I was thinking of Molton Brown but didn’t think I’d find anything with that budget. That looks very good. I’d like to get something that’s harder to find on the continent and I know they have Lush where they are. I think Molton Brown, Neil’s Yard or something more from the UK would be nice.
