Studs as gift- bother or not?

Hi, I wanted to get my son's long term partner some earrings but he has just told me that she does wear them but only very very plain ones like studs. Any suggestions? Should I just try something else? She is 28.

I got DSis on her late 20’s a gift from here for her birthday and she seemed really pleased - got 10% off by signing up to their newsletter if that helps.

If she's particular about what she likes, then don't.

I am set in my ways with what earrings I wear, and being gifted things I just don't wear means they just get left in my jewellery box and I'm disappointed in the gift.

There’s quite a lot to work with within ‘studs’! I only wear studs because my toddler is likely to grab anything dangly and I don’t think hoops suit me but I have loads of pairs and would love to get a nice pair as a gift. DD also only has studs since school don’t allow anything else. The astrid and miyu ones are really nice!
