Fake Oodie website ?

I've ordered what I thought were 3 oodies online. When I went to track the order it keeps saying error order not found. When I messaged them an automated response said tracking wasn't possible due to tech issues. I'm panicking now that I've been conned. I did use a credit card to pay so I'm hoping I could get the money back. I just don't know whether to try and cancel or not. The site is called oodieshop but when I went to email after messaging it came up as the comfy shop.

I don't think that's the real site sorry OP I'd probably try and cancel it.

I think I'm just going to cancel the order. Hopefully the credit card company will refund the money. I'm normally so careful. It looked utterly legit.

@Zombiemum1946 the scan sites are scarily realistic now aren't they!

Bizarrely, they've sent me an email saying it's on it's way to the delivery service and gave me a tracking number !!! The delivery service is legit, and the tracking number is registered , but the delivery website only shows the parcel is registered, but they don't as yet have it. I've frozen the credit card and will see what happens. I've since ordered and received the next version.

I too have been fleeced with this place. Ordered 13th, received Royal Mail tracking next day but it’s only showing as booked. Nearly 80 quid down the Swanny I think. I could kick myself for falling for it 🤦🏼‍♀️

P.s this site was called theoodie-store. It’s soooo like the real site

Did you use a credit card or paypal for your order? You may be able to make a claim

Arrr I see. I used visa debit. PayPal wasn’t an option. That should’ve rung alarm bells really 🙄

I can't believe it, I have just ordered from here accidentally. Did anyone get a cancellation? I don't know what to do! It says their sale stuff is non refundable, so I'm sure I won't get a refund if they actually send it.

If you try to contact them you just don’t get a reply. I’m still waiting for 2 ordered about 3 weeks ago. Pretty sure they’re fake but didn’t realise til after ordering 🙄

I ordered a version from next. I don't know if they're as good but we're all wearing them and so far no complaints.

Well this arrived today. No label inside or order sheet.

Oh gosh, what are they like? That pink looks different shade to what I saw on the website. It looked pastel when I was on there

Mine turned up today. Without a doubt fake. I have a genuine one to compare, see photos. The fake one is the red one which is badly made, all the overlocking showing. The mint green one is genuine. (Yes needs washing 😂)Label says made in China. Strangely the delivery tracking says from China but return address is uk. I’m not going to return as I think I’ll lose the items as well as the money. Lesson learned

Same thing for me. Ordered thinking I was ordering from oodie (website looks exactly the same). However mine has arrived and it is paper thin! Like an old dog blanket. They are not replying to my emails asking if I can return it - which they advertise that you can. I have contacted the credit card company but don’t hold out much hope. It is a real scam though. £40 for something I wouldn’t have you £5 for!

I'm going to try and do a charge back. Waiting the 14 days and I've reached out twice via email to prove I'm trying!
Mine hasn't arrived yet, and hoping it doesn't so I can do a chargeback through the bank. Never done it before, hope it works :(

Same has just happened to me. Thought I had ordered off of the legit site. Thought it was strange coming from China but it was on the way so not too concerned. It arrived today and is nothing like an oodie. Awful quality. Did you get anywhere with a refund?

The photo's not the best but it is red. The quality isn't great either.

The number looks the same but the Web address for oodie is different to mine.

Yes that’s the same as mine tnat arrived today. The good news is that it will arrive. The bad news is it’s definitely a fake oodie and we have laid the same price as what’s in the sale on the official oodie website.

If you have paid for genuine goods and been sent obviously fake ones, then report it to trading standards at your local council, and say that you think it is fraud. With any luck, they will be able to help.

I got a refund within a few hours from my bank. I just said it was counterfeit products and they refunded me
