What's on your 6 month olds list?

I know I know that my 6 month old has no idea it's Christmas let alone ask for anything but in just wondering what you're getting your little ones this year.

We've pretty much finished shopping for DD but we still have a large and generous family asking for ideas. I know lots of people say practical items such as weaning stuff/clothes/ money in savings but DD really loves playing with her current toys for hours each day. It seems ideal therefore to suggest gifts that will see her through to her 12 months.

So what toys are you hoping will be a hit this year or what toys went down well for your babies in years last?

These sensory balls were popular with my DS.

Sensory scarves. I read that they have longevity as can be used for lots of different things well into childhood. Puzzle with his name on. Book. Think that’s it, poor second child.

Teething toys are good.

DS1 was given a farmhouse shape sorter and it’s served him well. We started talking about the different animals and the sounds they make, then he would stack them, shape sort them as intended and now role plays with it. (He’s now 2.5)

Play tunnel/tent. They love it when they start crawling... and beyond!
