This thread title made me think I should make up a 12 days of christmas song for all the main bargains we've got! Thanks@Yalz and @ApiratesaysYarrr for the inspo on the title.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

debenhams have these Sherpa fleece blankets down to £15 instead of £90 there is a delivery charge of £3.99 but it’s still a bargain under £20 and lots of different designs

Debenhams want shooting for doing this 'reduced from £90' shenanigans. They did the same with their plastic make up organisers. It's the same stuff that ebay and Asda sell for £10 - £15 so an average price.

Oh that’s not great! I’ve ordered for DD as she is in hospital over Christmas and I wanted to treat her with something special. We have loads of dunelm fleeces and Oodies

It looks lovely, to be fair and I'm sure she will love it (very snuggly) I just don't know where Debenhams are getting off with pretending these are £90 blankets any more than the plastic make up boxes were worth £90.

For what it's worth, I'd love it if someone bought me one. It's a lovely gift 🎁

FREEDEL gives you feee next day postage

WidowedMum · 13/12/2023 21:55

@RainbowZebraWarrior I guess they’re pricing them at £90 for the required number of days so they can get away with it. It’s so annoying and misleading though.

chocolateisavegetable · 13/12/2023 22:07

@BippityBobbityBoo Amazon have offers on Bombay Sapphire and Tanquary gin

Whyisitsodifficult · 13/12/2023 22:08

Can anyone help me with a Dunelm discount code please?

I know she will appreciate it, I’m going to wrap it around a new pillow with a cosy case. She is in her 20’s but still our baby and will be sorely missed in the house over Christmas

this was my first “bargain” to post as well! Bar humbug debenhams

Any recommendations please for a heated throw? Needs to be quite big (for a tall lad) and warm. I understand they are pence to run and this will cost me less than heating his room with an extra electric radiator!

Someone posted a leather men's wallet recently but I can't find it, can anyone direct me?

Hi @dancemom I posted this Handmade Mens leather wallet from Amazon.

If you choose this colour it's only £19.99 and the other colours are £21.99. Good reviews and comes in a wooden gift box.

@Iluvchristmasbargains I got some cool crackers from TKMaxx the other day - they were £9.99 and instead of the usual cracker tat they all have a magic trick in them so it will provide a bit of fun hopefully! The were naice on that they were the shape and style of nutcracker soldiers.

Can anyone recommend somewhere for miniture bottles of alcohol please? I'm obviously living in the past, I thought they still did them on the cigarette counter in supermarkets. Thydo not! Tried finding cheap gift sets to split too but no joy.

LostMyRubySlippers · 13/12/2023 23:16

@springlike I ordered a Silentnight Heated sherpa lined throw from Sleepy People.
The smaller one is £49.99 and extra large is £54.99.
The code I used has expired, but code INTRO10 takes 10% off. It currently* *has express delivery for a pound for spends over £40 and if you go through Quidco they've just increased their cashback rate to 7.5%!

Your other options are lakeland throws or there's lots of different throws on Amazon.

Silentnight Luxury Sherpa Lined Heated Throw

Wrap yourself up in cuddly comfort. Soft and luxurious, lined with thermally insulating sherpa fleece.

Asda online have a couple & Ocado have a few gift/ multi packs too with a small discount.
Depending how many you need Dropstore do larger bundles but I’m not sure how it would work out re postage etc…

PlanBea · 13/12/2023 23:26

I've just ordered from Chuckling cheese company, they currently have 2 gift boxes for £20 and free delivery if you spend £20.

However, it also stacks with JASMINECH33SE20 for 20% off so I'm also getting 2 snacking salamis (on buy 2 for £3 and a pickle cheese for £3.25, delivered for £21.

They have a few multi buys like 3 cheeses for £9 which then stack with the 20% off so may be worth a look for gifts or just filling up Christmas treats

Would This After dinner set from Amazon be any good? It's £16.95 and arrives before Xmas.

Or VIP bottles seem to sell lots of different single mini bottles from around £1.29 each and the company has good reviews on trust pilot.
Edited to add: if you sign up to their VIP newsletter you get 5% off

XmasShoppingsister · 13/12/2023 23:50

Stocking filler idea: Nerf gun from Amazon for just £3... also included in the 'buy 4 save 5%' deal

TheCrow · 14/12/2023 00:05

@Scout2016 our local corner shops all still seem to sell mini bottles of alcohol

hannahbanana2007 · 14/12/2023 00:39

Thanks @PlanBea for the cheese company tip, was looking for something like this! I think I've pretty much copied your exact order Grin

Thanks for the recommendation/code. I found some perfect gifts for the men in my household 😊

@Scout2016 Sainsbury's have lots of miniature spirits, some really nice brands.

They are in the alcohol section with all the big bottles of spirits.
