This thread title made me think I should make up a 12 days of christmas song for all the main bargains we've got! Thanks@Yalz and @ApiratesaysYarrr for the inspo on the title.

In message two are the links and info from last year - if anyone has anything they'd like me to amend or add, please do tag me and I'll update.

A reminder not to post affiliate links in the thread but that MN do change amazon links shared by posters into MN affiliate links.

Please do watch the thread rather than post to mark place to make it easier for everyone to keep up and find relevant info.

I can’t remember who it was that was looking for the balloon dogs. But I’ve found them in the range. PM me and I’ll post them to you.

Could anyone who bought the bargain Amazon hand warmers give any feedback on whether they're any good. I'm still undecided whether to get them or not.

SugarCookieMonster · 13/12/2023 10:20

Has anyone seen an Argos discount code?

I’ve bought DH and DS a switch and wanted to get an extra set of controllers so we can play together. After spending a fortune on the console and some games I’d rather not pay full price!

Amazon has Pixar cars colour change car wash for £16. Says its down from 40 but quick Google has it 25-35 other places

DownWhichOfLate · 13/12/2023 10:31

@Ehunt1 - it was @Bryna 🎄

Andreseal · 13/12/2023 11:19

@Iluvchristmasbargains Thank you so much! You absolute superstar!

Ehunt1 · 13/12/2023 11:25

@DownWhichOfLate thank you. I’ve sent @bryna a PM

Beckafett · 13/12/2023 11:42

@Member212711 this looks lovely; tempted for myself!

Iluvchristmasbargains · 13/12/2023 11:47

I thought I had a box of crackers stashed in the loft, turns out I was wrong. Has anyone seen any good deals on naice crackers? I need 7, so a box of 8 would be ideal.

risefromyourgrave · 13/12/2023 11:48

Please can anyone help me with an idea for my cousin? I’m normally good at presents but my brain really isn’t working this year!
She’s in her mid 40’s and loves long baths and walks on the beach (sounds like a lonely hearts ad!) Budget is max £50. I am thinking of bath stuff but I don’t really know what’s good in the bath world, I’m a shower girl!

Also, I’m trying to think of an extra something for my sister, also mid 40’s. She’s off to Las Vegas in February and I’ve got her a guide book, but can’t think of anything else. At this rate it’ll be some dollars tucked inside the book. Budget would be £30 as I’ve already got her some other stuff.

If any of you wonderful Mumsnetters could think of anything I would be eternally grateful!

Beckafett · 13/12/2023 11:49

I’ve bought a walking book from ordnance survey for someone similar
https://shop.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/devon-40-coast-country-walks/?sku=9781907025532

they have all different areas and are really nice. They are small, so you’d want to make it more of a hamper with a nice coffee mug, gloves, that sort of thing

@Iluvchristmasbargains George at Asda have a Christmas sale on that includes some crackers (I've just bought some) - with grateful thanks to a previous poster who pointed out the sale!

Iluvchristmasbargains · 13/12/2023 11:58

@Member212711, thank you, an easy one for me to check out!

WidowedMum · 13/12/2023 12:13

@risefromyourgrave For Las Vegas, a hangover kit? Or tickets to something, there are usually a lot of options if you go on the US groupon.

If you go for cash, get it in $1 bills for tipping, she’ll thank you for that.

WidowedMum · 13/12/2023 12:17

If you go on voucher codes quick they’re doing a free £15 Amazon voucher with a £10 buy a gift spend. Think you can use it with voucher codes too and DAYS takes £10 off £30, £20 off £60 etc

How about a pretty passport wallet that would also would fit any paper boarding pass and some currency in? I love mine and feel very organised with it in the airport.

sorryiasked · 13/12/2023 12:36

@Iluvchristmasbargains I got some half price crackers from ocado last week.

This looking for prime, Aldi has loads in but can't remember what colours.

Fun card game down to £6 odd, not a massive deal but was on my list for nephew. Only a few left in stock

toprump · 13/12/2023 12:58

The giant 850g Dairy Milk is £6 with a Clubcard as a PP mentioned.

Combine it with the Sky VIP code (Sky customers only and it took a few days for me to be successful getting a code) and it's £4 for a massive block of choc!

Thank you @DownWhichOfLate ,@Ehunt1 and the many others who made suggestions, I’m all sorted for balloon dogs now! I’ll have one very happy DC 😊
