I have a few small children to buy for this Christmas, I'm going to get them a toy each but would like to get them a keepsake gift too that they won't outgrow quickly.
They're are 2, 3 year old girls, 4 year old boy, 5 year old girl and 6 year old boy.
Any Ideas?

Jewellery.
A classic book, maybe a "gift collection" type book with beautiful illustrations. Waterstones usually have a good selection.
Bunnykins or Peter Rabbit money box.

A Christmas decoration for the tree. You can get some beautiful ones.

Nice Christmas decoration but not personalised
Mug
jewellery box for the girls with an age appropriate bracelet or necklace
not too childisch money box

We got several really nice illustrated books for DD, she was too young to follow the story then and while she loves the story line she doesn't like the style of writing (think of Anne of Green Gables, Peter Pan etc) so never really read them. They gather dust on the guest room shelves.

If you know what their interests are, then a blanket for the ends of their beds will be used for years. Eg my son has a fleecy one with a Map of the world on it as he loves maps. My dd has one with the planets on.
