Interactive toy dog

DD is 4, she's been asking for a our generation doll all year but suddenly the last week of so has been wanting a dog that walks. We still have some wiggle room in the budget so I'd like to get her one.
Does anyone know of any good quality (I don't want it to break in a month or so as she would be devastated) toy dogs that you can interact with/walk?

This FurReal friends one walks and barks. My Niece has one, and it doesn't have an off switch, so my SIL removes one of the batteries once she has finished playing, but from all accounts this is easy to do, and stops it barking when it's bumped into.
