My dad has been awesome this year- he always is, but he has gone the extra mile to support us with some legal stuff as well as provided lots of babysitting for DC and manual labour on a house renovation.
He hates me spending money on him- so I have already got him some fantastic socks (which is what he likes) but I want to get him something else. Usually there is a book that I can get him- but he never gets round to reading them unless he is on holiday so they are a bit pointless really.
He likes port and chocolate but it was his birthday 2 days ago and that’s what everyone else, and me, got him then.
i want something around the £20 mark.
- As said above, no time to read.
- no consumables- he’s already got a fuckton from the 7th.
- there isn’t anything ticketed that will be up his street in the new year either.
- red letter days are a waste of money as he is so busy and never books them
- actually pretty young and cool and trendy (he is 52)
- he is building a narrowboat by hand
- doesn’t have any hobbies unless you count watching weird YouTube videos of drone footage from Ukraine
- super handy, likes gadgets and tools
- doesn’t exercise
- not into cooking
