Presents under the tree

I love to see presents under the tree! Usually I place our presents under the tree christmas eve night.

Anything that comes from others grandparent's etc is placed under the tree when received.

Interested to see what others do?

On another forum in America a lot of people put presents under the tree once wrapped. I guess it depends on if you have small children that still believe

I hate seeing an empty tree, so presents go under as they are wrapped/received. Santa only brings one present each + stocking so that’s not an issue.
DC are 7, 4 and 1, and totally uninterested in playing with them - they might have a quick look when a new one appears but seem to be fine with ignoring them most of the time.
Also helps with not having to hide them, or forgetting where I’ve stored them!!

When the kids were small, Santa stuff was unwrapped or in a big Santa bag by the fireplace when they woke up in the morning.

Presents from Santa are placed by the fireplace under the stockings. So presents under the tree are from wider family. These are already under and will add more as they arrive.

Christmas Eve in this house. There is just no way my DC (4 and 1) would have the restraint not to tear into everything under the tree if I put presents under there. Maybe when they're older.

Anything wrapped goes under the tree so the bulk of presents only goes under the tree on Christmas eve as that is when I wrap most of them.
