Christmas Eve load up the dishwasher with salt and rinse aid so that annoying red light doesn't start flashing on Christmas day

If other people offer to help, let them.
Taking it all seriously is a fool's errand.
Don't let perfection destroy the beauty of good enough.
Lots of clean tea towels!
Tupperware all matched with lids in advance, for storing leftovers.

If you overstretch yourself and end up stressed and snappy, that’s what people will remember. Cut as many corners as you need to stay chilled and happy.

Tell your children that Santa only comes to clean tidy houses so that they help out with the pre-Christmas clean 😬
