Adult only Christmas

Christmas is always me, DH, my mum, sister, brother and his wife.

We have more family but they visit in the evening only.
We all get on well, no issues there.

I'm looking for ideas to make Christmas day more interesting or fun.

It's been the same for 18 years now and it's just become run of the mill the last few years, low energy . We have not been doing presents the last 6 years... only secret santa (with other siblings, partners and neices nephews etc in the evening ).

Any ideas for simple games? (DB would hate the formal board game)

Specific crafts?

Certain foods that make it extra special ?
Specific conversional games might help

Anything to pick up the mood a bit so we aren't just eating and going home :/

Print off photos of celebrities when they were young and ask people to identify
similarly, photos of logos
print off celebrity photos and cut them in half under the eyes and glue onto paper so that the top and bottom halves don’t match,
we always simply played charades

Picture quiz (try the internet for some to print) , general knowledge quiz, pictionary, music quiz (google Nest has quizzes to play), a couple of silly/joke prizes to give out

Make it all about those attending.

Are you all set on a Christmas meal?

Or could you all bring your ultimate favourite Christmas food. Make a really fancy grazing table?

Scratch cards always go down well here.

A walk.

Then a memory question jar.

Everyone puts in one funny memory and one question. Take turns to take them out.
