Can I save Christmas.

I've lost my Christmas mojo this year. I used to love it and go all out but this year.....meh. I live alone and work full-time and with one thing and another I've done nothing. No shopping, no decorations, no sorting the house. I feel tired and a bit flat. I need to do something as my young adult kids are coming here from Uni. I also want to do something so it feels a bit nice for myself. But it also feels a bit freeing that I could just do nothing. Any suggestions of how I can sort this quickly would be most welcome!!

I feel the same this year OP, my eldest is at uni (2nd year), youngest is almost 18. I have managed to drag the tree in from outside, it’s just a small potted tree, but I can’t be bothered to fully decorate the house, DD’s room isn’t ready for when she comes home, I have done presents but found it a chore this year as money is tight. It’s just not the same now the dc are adults, I kind of miss the school carol services and visiting santa 😬 even though I hated it at the time. I did take dd to a Christmas market last week but it was the least christmasy market I have been too.

I'd get the decorations up before they come home. Do a big online shop for food and drinks and you're sorted. It won't take long.
