I am making my own crackers this year but am struggling to think what to put in. Sil hates anything plastic.

I have
My dm 80
Fil 80
Mil 75
Sil 47
Bil 51
Nephew 10
Nice 8
Son 5

I was thinking of socks for the adults, what would you put in?

Adults:
Metal bookmark
bottle stoppers
alcohol miniature

Kids:
Stickers/crayons for the 5year old
hot wheels car
hair bobbles/clips
small puzzle and spread the pieces over 3 crackers so they work together to solve it?
wind up mini racing toys - could work for grown ups too!

Mini jigsaws!
I'm doing similar with Wentworth puzzles.

I always put a scratch card in the adult ones

Forgottenmyphone · 06/12/2023 13:10

Depending on the size, a pair of socks might fit. I’ve got some from John Lewis this year and just tried with a pair of my socks and they do fit but only just! So I’m doing socks in my DF’s cracker.
For my brother and DH, I’ve got mini Molton Brown shower gels. SIL is getting lip balm in hers and DM is getting mini L’Occitane foot butter. Dd is getting a bracelet, ds1 a Lego mini figure and DS2 a fidget cube.

Mini bubble bath. I've found the Milton brown ones fit perfectly.

mylittleprince · 06/12/2023 14:16

@BrieAndChilli do you have a link for the badges please?

BrieAndChilli · 06/12/2023 16:37

I got them from Temu - just google enamel badges and loads come up. Alternatively you can get packs on Amazon

reluctantbrit · 06/12/2023 17:14

I find whatever you put in it can get discarded this year it is sweets. One year it got torch key rings from the £1 shop I still use mine

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/12/2023 19:56

I asked on another thread and somebody suggested seeds, which I thought was a lovely idea.

Notmetoo · 06/12/2023 19:59

Tiny scents / sprays. Trying Ted Baker ones from boots this year for 2 people. You can get a gift set and split it or 3/2 from boots.
Nail varnish
Barry m colour change lipstick was a hit previously
Also tiny eye cream
Lip balm
Single eye shadow, I like the bourgeois ones
Fry's Turkish delight
Tic tac sweets
Sylvanian Family figure, you can get blind bags and take them out the packaging or just get second hand
I think a whoopie cushion would fit, or novelty balloon
Tiny wind up music box
A cockroach in fake chewing gum pack from rex london
There was a bank card sized penknife style gadget thing on the bargains thread but can't picture if that would fit
Bottle stopper
Those cubes for drinks instead of ice
Small bottle hot sauce
Story dice

Off the back of these threads I bought and put an owl pellet in one one year. Wasn't as well received as I'd expected...

Coffeesnob11 · 08/12/2023 11:22

Thank you all. I am definitely going to do a lottery scratchcard ad the kids love them. And then will choose something else small from all your great suggestions.
