What are you getting your boys for their stockings? Have a lovely boy who's just turned 10 who is very content and doesn't want much. So far he has:

Choc coins
Lindt Santa
Galaxy selection pack
Series of unfortunate events book
Slippers

Planning to get some nice shower gel as he's requested that. Any ideas for some nice cheap fun things to open?

What about a funko-pop figure ? You can get them in marvel, dragonball z etc

Zebrasinpyjamas · 06/12/2023 08:30

Mine likes a bath bomb

EnglishRose1320 · 06/12/2023 08:33

Small lego set
Bath bombs/fizzy/crazy soap
Bamboo socks
Miniature Frisbee
Book light
Card game

My children always wanted pants, socks, pens, paper. The year I tried to be different they were upset!

Sonyo · 06/12/2023 09:56

A gift card? Maybe for a video game or a place he likes to eat at. At that age, all of my nieces and nephews loved to receive a ROBLOX gift card though the cheapest is £10 but they're perfect to fit inside a stocking.

Rex London also does a lot of stocking fillers

Thanks everyone, some great ideas!

EarthyMangold · 06/12/2023 15:27

I was going to say cards: top trumps/ yu gi oh/magic gathering/Pokémon ....

TheNinjaWife · 06/12/2023 15:29

Do you have a Flying Tiger shop near you? I went in today and they have lots of good stocking fillers, puzzles, games, etc.

Pascha · 06/12/2023 15:34

Ds has a s'mores kit, small magic 8 ball, book, chocolate Santa, tiny torch, fluffy socks and I'll stick some pyjamas in the top all rolled up. I'm trying very hard not to buy shit. I'm not 100% successful but I'm trying.

Mine is 12, but emotionally a bit younger.

He has:

Rice paper (he eats paper lol)
Crimpit
Stickers
Charger cable
Small squishmallows
Chocolate bits and pieces
Keyring gameboy thing
Miniature waving tube man
Shower gel
Tissues
Phone case
Calendar
Pants
Small cans of pop
Water bottle

BurntOrange · 07/12/2023 22:05

Mini key ring compass was a hit here

Wolvesart · 07/12/2023 22:10

Wow, actual proper big gifts in a stocking 😮 Are they bigger now, ours would have fitted a paperback but not slippers and definitely no bigger Lego set than a poly bag or Minifigure

BurntOrange · 08/12/2023 06:02

@Wolvesart No lego sets here. Slippers are part of the overspill along with selection packs but as the pair I've bought him cost £7.50 I wouldn't categorise as a big present
