Looking at getting my DSis some ear buds (needs to work with a Samsung) for use whilst running. A bit 😮at the price of some. Any recommendations? Thank you!

I have sony wfc500 and they are brilliant! Did not think i would like earbuds but wow did these change my mind! Block out noise, waterproof, charge lasts for ages and reasonably priced! Defo recommend!

I really like the bone conduction ones (DS and I both have Shokz) that allow you to hear background noise when out and about. I think they are much safer!

I have some Shokz bone conduction headphones that were about £79.99 and let me hear the traffic as well as the music. Buds feel like they might fall out for me.

In-ear buds always, always fall out for me when I run, so I like the JLab Jbud Sport ones that hook over the ear. Just throwing that out there for those who have similarly small, and possibly weirdly shaped, ears.

I've got these. They fit well (I have odd shaped small ears and most ear buds keep falling out) and so far haven't fallen out. I have a Samsung Galaxy s22 and they work fine with it.

I like bone conduction ones. Just got some cheap ones from China, had them over a year, still great. I like to still be able to hear background noise

I have these from Soundcore - been great for me & not stupidly expensive:

Not what you're looking for in sure but, Panasonic Ergofit Wired Earbuds.
They're less than £10 and they fit tightly in the ear canal so they block a lot of sound and never fall out. I love them... 😁

Agree bone conducting much better than in-ear for running. I have Shokz but you can get similar (probably lower quality) other brands for much less. Make it her combined Christmas-and-birthday prezzy.

MyNameIsErinQuin · 08/12/2023 23:08

Definitely Shokz

I love these too. Mine are in a little cradle case that charges them when they are put back in to sleep Grin

Best present DH has ever got me I reckon

And yes I can still hear traffic too.

There are loads of inexpensive sports ear buds in TKMax.
