Happy first door of advent calendars everybody

So far neither teen upset about advent calendar choices, see how long it lasts!

Hope there was excitement in other houses. It did mark a beginning when I was young, the advent calendar even if they were very basic back then.

It was very exciting here this morning - all kids up super early and excited to open their calendars and see if the elf had arrived.

Toddler was very excited. This is first year she has understood any of it. Then immediately furious when she realised we were only opening one lousy door and putting it away 🙄😂
