Recommendations for newborn presents

Ds will be 5 weeks at Xmas, but is dc3 so santa needs to bring him a few bits

So far I've decided on a few board books for him but looking for recommendation for other ideas. Preferably not things for weaning or bigger clothes as it seems ages away still and we are trying to declutter so I'd rather not have unused things sitting around for months.

We got rid of most baby toys years ago so I'm looking for recommendations of things your little ones enjoyed / got good use our of at under 6 months.

This Black & White Book is my go to gift for friends new babies and I have heard every time that the babies just love it and are fascinated by it.

Sensory toys? Emergency foil blanket thing for scrunching, little plug in disco light/projector, different size and textured squishy balls or shapes, black and white cards or books, maracas, bells etc.

Smiley Mia Penguin on Amazon was a hit with mine when teething. She also liked Lamaze Freddie Firefly and Manhattan Toys Skwish.

Sensory balls that are all different shapes and textures - we had a set from Amazon.
